Vaclav Jakubek

My name is Vaclav Jakubek. I’m a professional graphic artist and computer games veteran, working in the games industry since 2000.

Previously, I worked as a lead designer at Walt Disney’s mobile games studio in Prague for over eight years. During my time at Disney, I had the honor of working on several award-winning titles. (mobile versions of Donald’s Quest, Cars, Disney Pets and many more).

  In 2009 I started working as a freelance artist, completing projects for leading studios around the world. I have had the opportunity to work with Kiloo on well-known titles such as Lego games and the Whac a mole game.

I am currently working for BBG Entertainment GmbH as Lead Artist and partially as Co-Producer.

Other well known games I have worked on are UFO afterlight (mobile), Fort Apocalypse (mobile), Dynablster, Boulder Dash Deluxe.

I live with my wife and family near Havlickuv Brod in the Czech Republic.

  • in 1999 I was working for People in need foundation as humanitarian worker in KOSOVO war (distributing and delivering basic goods and food to people hit by war)
  • 2000 – 2018 during these years I was travelling around whole Europe and part of Africa. From High Atlas, Alps, Pyrenees, over Russia, all north Scandinavian countries – up to Nordkap , Balkan, and all western EU countries.
